Might also be good to have a text field on album level for liner notes, and general info like studio, technicians etc if one dont want to introduce more granular tag system for such info.

Yes we already have notes on contract, income and expenses. You are right we need to have on almost all resources. Technicians, etc are planned to be added as specific contributors in the future.

We think its good not only to have it on album level, but also on artist, work, company, contacts etc. In the settings you could create sets of custom fields and attach them to one of those items for notes, additional info, picture, (birth)date etc..

Siger Smit: Custom fields per resource is definitely something we'll consider in the future. This is not planned short term because of the complexity of such a system. In the meantime you can use custom tags and tag categories to enter additional textual information.
